Yes, foreigners may join as a member. Please note that all applications for SIM Society Membership are subject to approval and you will be notified upon approval.

Yes, you do not have to graduate from SIM to join as a member. Do note that all applications for SIM Society Membership are subject to approval and you will be advised of the membership category awarded to you.

Both the corporate and individual membership fees include an entrance fee which is a one-time fee payable new members which include those who re-join after their membership have lapsed for more than 6 months, and an annual subscription fee. For individual membership, the annual subscription is based on the calendar year and for new individual members, this fee will be pro-rated to the month when your application is approved. There is no proration for the annual subscription fee for corporate membership.

All SIM membership applications are subject to approval. You will be notified of the membership category assigned to you upon approval.
Membership applications are processed on a weekly basis. We can only process your membership application upon receiving your application form and all required supporting documents, including your CV and a certified true copy of your highest academic qualification/certificate.

SIM membership is renewed on a yearly basis and it is valid for one calendar year upon your renewal.

Yes, you are welcome to attend our membership and interest group activities but registration will be at the non-members’ rate. We would like to highlight that as an SIM Society member, you will enjoy special rates at membership and interest groups activities.
