Synopsis

Artificial intelligence is moving rapidly from standalone tools and generative AI assistants towards integrated, agentic systems that can support and automate complex organisational processes. This session explores how enterprises can move beyond isolated AI adoption towards broader transformation of strategy, workflows, decision-making and service delivery.

The session will examine how organisations can identify high-value AI opportunities, redesign business processes, and integrate AI with enterprise data, cloud services, APIs and existing systems. Particular attention will be given to the transition from generative AI to agentic AI, including the use of tools, memory, knowledge, orchestration and multi-agent workflows, together with practical build-versus-buy choices.

The final part will focus on responsible implementation: governance, regulation, security, explainability, human oversight, organisational change and the skills needed to move from experimentation to scalable enterprise value. Practical examples will be used throughout to connect emerging technologies with real organisational challenges.

Key Areas Covered

  1. From AI Adoption to Enterprise Transformation
Where AI can create meaningful organisational value, and how businesses can move from isolated experimentation towards broader transformation of processes and decision-making.
  2. From Generative AI to Agentic AI in the Enterprise
The main focus of the session: how AI is evolving from generative assistants towards agentic systems that use tools, knowledge and multi-step workflows, and how these systems can connect with enterprise data, cloud services, APIs and existing business applications.
  3. Responsible and Scalable AI Adoption
The key considerations when moving from pilots to wider organisational use, including data, privacy, security, explainability, human oversight, governance and organisational change.

Synopsis

For many organisations, sustainability is still viewed as a compliance exercise driven by reporting requirements and stakeholder expectations. However, leading businesses increasingly recognise sustainability as a strategic enabler that influences competitiveness, resilience, innovation and long-term value creation.

This session explores how organisations can move beyond viewing sustainability as a reporting obligation and instead use it as a business strategy. Participants will gain insights into emerging business drivers, understand how ESG considerations shape organisational decisions, and examine practical examples of sustainability creating measurable business value.

The session also includes a hands-on ESGpedia carbon footprint exercise, demonstrating how measurement can provide the foundation for better decisions and meaningful action.

Learning Outcomes

      • Understand why sustainability is shifting from a compliance issue to a business priority.
      • Recognise how ESG factors influence competitiveness, risk and organisational resilience.
      • Identify sustainability risks and opportunities relevant to their own organisations.
      • Appreciate carbon measurement as a management tool, not only a reporting requirement.
      • Define practical first steps for integrating sustainability into business decisions.

Synopsis

It took 72 years to build the first AI system the world actually used. It has taken four to reach agents that reason, write, code and act on their own. The headlines say jobs are disappearing. The evidence says something more interesting: tasks are disappearing, and the people who can lead others through that change are worth more than ever.

AI is changing not only the tools we use, but also how work is organised, decisions are made and skills are valued. For many people, the pace of change can feel unsettling—especially when economic pressures and shifting opportunities make the next step unclear. How do we move from feeling like passengers in this change to becoming catalysts who shape it?

In this interactive session, Alex Tham draws on his experience as a CEO, technology entrepreneur, Silicon Valley venture capital investor and mentor to explore the human side of leadership in the age of agentic AI. Through leadership stories, a practical workplace dilemma and audience discussion, he will examine how people at every career stage can distinguish signal from noise, exercise judgement, build trust and turn uncertainty into purposeful action.

The session is designed for those leading organisations and businesses, those developing others, and those navigating change in their own careers. Participants will leave with a practical way to identify where they can create value, strengthen the capabilities that matter, and take one concrete step from passive adaptation to active contribution.

Learning outcomes

Participants will be able to:

  1. Understand why the pace of AI change is now a leadership issue, not just a technology one.
  2. Recognise how AI-drive n change can affect work, decisions and career opportunities without assuming one outcome for every role.
  3. Diagnose your own leadership posture and know what it takes to move from passenger to catalyst.
  4. Apply human-centred leadership behaviours — clarity, courage, agility, judgement and trust — whether they lead a company, a team, a learning programme or themselves.
  5. Choose one practical action to develop a relevant capability or contribute value over the next 30 days.
